Vintage Toy Pirate Mug

Yo Ho Ho Mug

Yo Ho Ho Mug

Toby Mugs were named for an 18th century Yorkshire man after he drank 2,000 pints of Yorkshire stingo, nicknamed Toby Fillpot.  We don't know if it's true, but we'll choose to believe it.   Made famous by Royal Dalton, we have a soft spot for these mugs - especially ones representing life on the sea, like this salty pirate.  And, like Toby Fillpot, this guy looks like he's seen his share of pints. In very good vintage condition, and completely liquid-tight ceramic, this mug is ready to hold your own frosty beverage.  Or holding a plant, like we've done here.
