Saddle up, horse people. We've had previous brass horse statutes that are intricate and finely etched; fancy horses, if you will. This one is not. This statue has more of a wildness to it, with its sturdy heft, strong lines and lack of detail. It's a simplification of a horse, doing the simplest of things, grazing on grass.
While unmarked we traced this solid brass piece to be made in Korea. With its outstretched neck to tail measuring 5.5", this is a smaller size dandie at only 3" tall, but its fine patina and bronzed shine will certainly get noticed on the shelf.
