You can't look at this sweet little clothespin doll and tell us it isn't our favorite Anne of all time. She's not marked as such, but when we did a Google Lens search, all we got back were Anne Shirley dolls; though none that matched this one.
In fact, we think we have something quite unique here. Marked as a "Wooden Head Doll" handmade by Barb & Peg Randall (sisters, we assume, and owners of Sew & So's of Manlius, NY), we haven't been able to find another one on the market.
But we're very taken by everything about her from her straw hat to her hand sewn duck print dress--and of course those red braids that are giving Anne of Green Gables. She'd fit right in sitting atop a book of Lucy Maud Montgomery books; or as an adorable addition to a cottagecore shelf.
