We're suckers for floral art and this foil tinsel art piece is so unique and intricate. And quite frankly, feels like it was created by magic. We did a little research and learned that this form of art was popular in the late 1800s (though we don't think this is that old). It's a form of reverse painting on glass with metallic foil applied behind the transparent area to give a shimmering effect.
That shimmering effect is what caught our eye when sourcing this one. We were drawn to the bright colors that glimmer giving the illusion of stained glass. This is a dandie to hang on a wall that gets plenty of sun to enjoy its shine. We also really love the wooden framed that has a bit of texture to make it interesting. A perfect addition to a gallery wall.
