Sourcing (shopping!) is always the fun part of our job and sometimes researching our finds is just as delightful. Take these ivy clad glasses: they aren't glasses at all (though, obviously you should use them a such), but they are vintage sour cream containers! Yes, before plastic was mainstream, stuff was packaged in glass. And Hazel Atlas designed sour cream containers with fun designs for decades. In fact, we know these are from the '50's because that's when this ivy pattern was produced!
We love these as juice glasses or cocktail glasses. They add a fun splash of color to any kitchen or bar. Plus, we love the idea of glass lasting over 70 years. My grandmother's onion dip could have started as sour cream in one of these containers!

These are pre-loved dandies (and are about 70 years old!) so there is some wear consistent with use but no chipping or cracks and the leaf patterns are fully intact. Honestly, if we look this good at 70, we'll be ecstatic
