We are always charmed by pre-plastic "Tupperware" that was popular in the early-to-mid 20th century. We are especially charmed when the piece was made in an almost perfect shade of dandie orange! So, obviously, we picked up this 1940's Hall China refrigerator dish with lid. This was made for Westinghouse as a freebie when someone purchased a new fridge. We love the oval shape and art deco lines of this dandie.
We'd probably not want to hide this away in the fridge and we'd probably use it to contain something on an open shelf so that we could admire it even when the refrigerator door is closed. It would make a great place to stash coffee, tea, or sugar.

This is a pre-loved dandie in really good vintage condition considering its age and function. We see no chips or cracks; there is a little wear as expected from use over the years, but nothing that takes away from the charm or functionality of this item
