We've started to dip our toes into jewelry (tiny, sparkly things?! YESSSS!) We just could not resist this gorgeous pair of pearlescent art deco earrings at a recent estate sale. We loved their look and saw that they were signed ("Duri"), but there's always so much to learn when we get dandies home. What we've learned: these are made of pink abalone shell , probably in the '70s or early '80s, and the might also be classified as an Art Nouveau style. We just think they are fabulous (and are tempted to keep them, but we will resist the urge...for now!)

This is a pair of pre-loved dandies in good vintage condition; we note that there appears to be a small area where the shell has chipped/broken, but it's hard to see (in fact, we only saw it on our dozenth look at these stunners)
