The problem with so many decorative planters is that there is no drainage which means you're really taking a risk that your roots won't rot. This one doesn't have that problem, it's a two-piece plant pot that has a separate vessel for catching excess water. Such a great functional design; but his pot isn't all function--it's beautifully formed with a pretty rooster and floral pattern, hand made in Italy. If you're like us, and can't have enough house plants in your life, this is a wonderful dandie to add to your budding collection.
