If you like your homegoods with a side of Global Good, check out the beautiful pieces from Le Souk Tunisia. Founded in 1997 after gaining independence from France, Le Souk's mission is to preserve the Tunisian pottery craft due to its cultural importance. All the artisans who produce the pottery do so freehand, using raw clay and paint.
It is an all-hands-on-deck type of operation, with the entire team - hired and trained from lower socioeconomic backgrounds - pitching in on every piece; no large machines are used in any of the production. And! They believe in environmental sustainability with all clay, packaging and boxes 100% recycled.
Ok, now that we know that, let's talk about this bowl. A true showstopper. In beautiful cobalt hues with intricate fish trio pattern, the bowl measures 14" across; it would make a fantastic salad or pasta bowl (we vote pasta).

- This is a pre-loved dandie; in excellent condition, no chips cracks or wearing of the paint. Bottom foot has some scuffs which might scrub right out.
