This is the second chamberstick we've acquired and we find them so quaint. We can absolutely picture a person in history using this to find their way in the dark. There's a little ghostly wind happening in our daydream and fluttering curtains plus a night cap and dress.
But we digress. This is a beautiful art pottery piece that would look great in a cottage or traditionally styled home; and it would be definitely be useful the next time your electricity goes out. This is a marked piece, but we aren't able to decipher the marking. Whoever made this candlestick holder is very good at making pottery though!
