Artist D. Morgan knew her shit when she wrote "Heaven is a little closer.. in a house... by the sea." I mean, yeah; it's for this reason we agree her lovely piece of coastal folk art has a place in seaside homes everywhere.
Morgan, a self-taught artist since the 70s, is known for her calligraphy prose which decorate her dreamy watercolors. And while not all of her work is our usual style, we adore the simplicity of the piece and; to sit on that porch, with only the sounds of seagrass and seagulls, would truly make us, just a little bit, closer to heaven.
