The Moon and Stars curio jar is other wordly. For good reason, it is one of the most collectible in vintage glassware, perhaps because it's distinctive pattern gives us all the nostalgic feels of grandma's candy dish. Produced by multiple makers, Kerry recently sourced theamber version from LE Smith.
This one, also a Smith, is a sought after ruby variety. In deep fiery red, there's an undeniable drama to this piece. In excellent condition, no chips or cracks present - it's been well maintained over the decades.
Kerry suggested filling hers with cranberry sauce. We might save this one for the Christas table for a grand reveal with it's full of sweet nuts and treats.
