Costa Rican Folk Art Original Watercolor Painting by Barth, Framed
Pura Vida Folk Art
Pura Vida Folk Art
The Costa Rican way of life - Pura Vida, meaning 'Simple Life' - is truly alive and well in the spirit of this original watercolor painting. Described as folk art, this is an original watercolor of a day-in-the-life of a Costa Rican village. With a mountain or volcano in the distance (Arenal?), we love the way the sky is gathering in the corners, and the bright pops of ink in all the colors of the rainforest. Signed by artist, Barth, this is dated 1993 - but penned '1992' on the back.
Matted and professionally framed by no-longer-in-business frame shop in Sarasota, FL, the frame could use a little tightening in the corners but is in otherwise ready-to-hang condition.
- Original Costa Rican Folk Art Watercolor painting by Barth, signed 1992
- Dimensions: with frame, 13" by 11.5"
- This is a pre-loved dandie; in excellent condition, there's no cracks in the glass and the art is ready to hang. As mentioned, a little tightening of the frame in upper left corner would help but we left it as-is to not disturb the glass.
