We can't believe that we found this vintage Blenko water bottle well into the second day of an estate sale. The minute we saw this beauty, we grabbed it. This is a really stunning piece that changes colors depending on the lighting--with the sun shining through this glass, it practically glows.
These water bottles were originally manufactured in 1938 in the now iconic shape to fit into the doors of then new-fangled electric iceboxes. They are still produced today in the same shape with two spouts for easy pouring. We think this would look so stylish on the table for a festive dinner party--this deep purple begs to be added to your Thanksgiving tablescape; in between fêtes, this gorgeous glass would make a fabulous vase.
