What you'll notice first about this set of 8 vintage rice bowls is their vibrancy; in striking cobalt and creamy white, the subtle patterns let the color be the star. Second, these are perfectly maintained. In seemingly unused condition, we located a sticker on one of them and there are no scratches, chips or cracks to speak of. After some research, we found these were made by Japanese maker Sanyo Toki (meaning 'three oceans') as part of their Ryuho Kiln line of traditional porcelain Japanese style dinnerware.
In a small, yet versatile size, these would make a great rice, miso, soy sauce, or small ice cream bowls. It fits so nicely in your hand, and stacks up tightly for storage.
