A little research (i.e., Google) told us that this bold duo is an example of Memphis Design which popped up in the early '80s as a counterpoint to the simpler lines and monochrome stylings of the mid century. And while we do tend to love a mid century modern aesthetic, we're loving the totally radical maximalism of this set, too.
