Someone make some biscotti, because we're in the mood for Italian. This beautiful "Ricco" canister is one of most iconic of Deruta-Italy's designs; the flour de lis pattern seen here was heavily influenced by Renaissance artist Pietro Perugino. Each of Deruta's pieces is handpainted by artisans in Sberna, Deruta, world famous for its ceramics.
Measuring 8" tall, this is their 'large' canister. It's perfectly sized for flour, sugar, and yes - biscotti. Amy considered keeping it on the kitchen table for dog treats - it's so cheery, and crisp - classic, yet modern. This piece is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks, and immediately brightens up any space. We love it.
Note: these canisters can be purchased new for $168, so we think this is a pretty good deal.
