Imperfectly Perfect Porcelain Bud Vase

Ah, little vase! The color on this is like fresh cream and the texture is also so.  At 7" high, it will be perfect for keeping herbs or a cut garden stems fresh. We love it mixed in on a bookshelf - both modern and timeless, the clean lines and slinky shape are undeniable. It also has a surprising heft, make this a really high quality piece.

Note, we were slightly heartbroken to discover a tiny chip on the rim, but it is truly minor in the scheme of its beauty that we still think this is an incredible dandie. 

As for its origin, it is a mystery;  we've spent too much time trying to identify this vase. It has all the hallmarks of a handcrafted piece of art, and yet the rare marking has been alluding us.  In a style very popular of Japanese or Hungarian porcelain. If anyone can place this, please, let us sleep again!

• Unknown origin; marking is stamped RR (KR? BR?) 
• This is a pre-loved dandie; in good condition, there is a minor chip (see photos) on the rim which is only noticeable when looked at from the top.
