This friendly turtle (tortoise?) has all the unassuming characteristics of a brass trinket; it looks great on the shelf, adds a degree of interest to your console table, calls to busy hands to pick it up and inspect it... But we were thrilled to discover that there's so much more hiding in this guy. Beneath the hinged shell is the perfect place to hide your earrings before the shower, your wedding ring when you're on the prowl, or your drugs when the in-laws are over.

This is a pre-loved dandie; in good vintage condition, the brass has a lovely patina and some nice worn in spots; the new owner may choose to polish, but we prefer as-is.
