Kerry here: this is a piece that I would *not* let go if I had any spot for it in my own home. This is a dandie that I passed by on several sourcing trips to my favorite thrift store. I finally bought it because it is just so striking. This piece is so captivating because of its black glaze and deep floral pattern that gives it a gothic vibe. It would really pop styled with a few deeply colored red roses.
I have a soft spot for Mexico and Mexican art. Mexico is one of my favorite places to visit because of the amazingly friendly people, the absolutely delicious food, and extremely interesting culture. IYKYK. If you haven't had the chance to explore a bit of Mexico, this is a great piece to remind you to get there some day; and if you have, it's the perfect item to remind you of your travels.
