This set will be forever filed under Wow in my brain. Kerry and I saw this set posted on a Facebook page and both agreed it was worth every second of the hour round-trip to bring this to you. It's that good.
This coffee set is made by well-known German company, Rosenthal, who have been producing porcelain products and household goods since 1879. This studio pottery line, called Continental and designed by Bjørn Wiinblad in the cozy "Siena" pattern, was produced up until the early 70s, and we're here for it.
This is an heirloom quality, mega set; with coffee service for 10, the set includes 10 pristine brown mugs, a cream and sugar set (LOOK at that sugar bowl lid!), a ceramic coffee pot with lid, and the most lovely little mug saucers you ever did see. We adore the whimsical hand-painted take on the a fleur-de-lis - but most especially the way this set makes us want to plan an evening of coffee and laughs with friends.. just to show it off.
The set also includes storage diapers - a thing I never thought I would have in my home - which carefully tucks away the mugs, saucers and creamer set perfectly for storage.
