Before it was Duralex, it was Vereco Glass, a French glassware company known for their tempered glass that is nearly indestructible (think: Pyrex, only prettier). You can drop it, heat it, microwave it, stack it.. you name it. This stuff is meant to last.
In addition to durability, Vereco was also a master of style and color, known for their bold palette and clean modern lines - and this amber gold set of cups and saucers is rich in both. Born in the 1960s, these remain effortlessly trendy in today's modern world where everyone seems to be re-discovering colored glassware.
Measuring just about 2.5" high, these would make a fantastic tea or espresso set.
