Who doesn't love a really great bowl? We chose this one for a few reasons: First, it's made in Portugal, and we're suckers for their rustic, terracotta wares. Second, we love the size; this thing will really hold some stuff. Amy would opt for citrus, and Kerry predictably said pasta (it's the Italian in her). Lastly, it's so darn colorful. The white is gleaming, and the hand painted fruit (which is only on one side), is whimsically out of the lines. It's so fresh and summery, and it's making me want a fruit salad (hey, you could also use it for that!).

This is a pre-loved dandie; in excellent condition, there's only minor scuffs on the bottom. It's a very great bowl!
