For the last 300+ years, in a town in Brittany, France called Quimper ("cam-pair"), the tin-glazed, hand-painted Quimper Pottery has been produced. In the early 1900s, Quimper Pottery merged with Henriot Quimper (a competitor of similar pottery). This duck planter is born of that partnership; produced in France and signed Henriot Quimper, as well as the artist's signature, it brings an air of French countryside wherever it goes, We love the unique handpainting on each duck - this one with beautiful flower detailing on the breast.
