We were immediately drawn to the whimsicality of this sizable piece; the abstract portraits are so cheery and the color selection is downright fire. We love the mixed media - ceramic with pencil drawing, paint, and clear matte glazed - which gives it a rustic edge.
While the artist is unknown - we can't really read the large signature on the bottom - it's local to Salem, MA. This is incredibly unique find - and would be at home with someone who likes to weave a touch of eccentricity throughout their home. Or, perhaps, a full on eccentric.
