Despite being a firm dog-lover, Amy was delighted to discover this somewhat rare, and highly collectible ceramic 'Climbing Cat' at a recent estate sale. Produced by Camark in the 1930 & 40s, this green-eyed beauty it is meant to hang on a wall, but we love it perched on a ledge or bookshelf.
This is one of the larger ones produced by Camark; measuring 16" long, ear to tip of tail, and 5" high. The peice is in excellent condition; note that the previous owner did stuff some aluminum foil in the kitten's paws. We're not sure why, so we left it as is because it doesn't harm the piece

This is a pre-loved dandie; in excellent antique condition, with almost no observed crazing or chips. There's minor marks on the underside, and the paws have been stuffed with a little aluminum foil which is removable.
