As bowl aficionados, this perfectly sized ceramic mixing bowl did NOT go unnoticed during our recent sourcing trip. Perfectly sized for a bowl of brownie batter, a dinner salad, or an arrangement of citrus, we love her cozy hues. Dipped in a shiny cobalt glaze over a classic terracotta clay, even with a magnifying glass and a lot of determination, we were unable to legibly make out the subtle marking on the underside (which won't even show up in a photograph). Alas.
What we do know is that this vintage bowl is in excellent condition - with no chips or cracks or crazing present. With classic lines, it makes an eye-catching addition to open shelving in kitchen styles of all types.
