We are always on the hunt for unique vintage finds and this, my friends, is that. Imported by California Company Habitat International, this very scrumptious dessert tray was handmade and hand-painted in Thailand in the 1960's/70s. We adore the
papier-mâché style - lacquered to be food safe and water resistant, is there a more charming way to serve your tea and crumpets? Surely not.
Measuring 23" across and 15" high, this would make both a functional yet whimsical serving dish. Beyond the hand-painted tea cakes, there's a sweetness to this piece which is hard to duplicate in modern world; we think this would make a very unique wall piece in a vintage-style kitchen.
