Well, this little doll certainly sent us down a rabbit hole--or through a strawberry patch, if you will. We found this little lady sans box, so we had to turn to Google to help us determine if she was vintage or not. We strongly suspected that she was a reproduction based on her overall condition and the Velcro enclosing her dress (we felt like if it was from 1980 it would be snap button--these are the things we consider when diving for dandies, folks!)
Anyway, she IS a re-make, but she's also highly coveted. This is a limited edition, 35th anniversary remake of the OG shortcake doll. So she has a very retro look by design. She's VERY sweet--and yes, you do know exactly how she smells! It's pretty hard to part with her, but we will do it for you!
