Set of 6 Pandora Ceramics Coasters, Made in Greece
Cuerda Seca 1970s Coasters
Cuerda Seca 1970s Coasters
The more we learned about these coasters, the deeper in love we fell. Made by Pandora Ceramics in Greece in the 1970s, these were made with a technique called Cuerda Seca (or 'lost cord'), a painstaking process where cord is placed in the design between firings and separates the colors to create the relief-surface seen and felt here.
We absolutely love the designs here which have a nordic vibe to us, especially the red deer (Amy's favorite). The six coasters come nestled in a wooden block for easy storage on your coffee table.
- 1970s Set of 6 Pandora Ceramics Handmade Coasters, Greece
- There are 2 of each design: red deer, sailboat and peacock
- This is a pre-loved dandie in good condition; the ceramic is in excellent shape with no chips or cracks. Note: the coasters have lost their foam bottom over time. We scrubbed them off and if they were ours, we'd stick a little sticky felt bottom on each.
