Ok, so how amazing is your brunch going to be when you place this pitcher on the table amongst the quiche and cinnamon buns? The tail feathers ARE THE PITCHER'S HANDLE. We can't even. This is such a delightful piece and we'd fill this resplendent rooster with OJ so that your guests will top their mimosas off by yanking on his tail--well, really, holding his tail respectfully is more like it.
This is a vintage piece by Fitz & Floyd from the 90s. We were so enamored with this cock that we did miss that he has a chip on the green grass area that the previous owners painted over. But we still think this dandie is more than worth having around. In between meals, this is a fantastic piece to style on your open shelves--especially if you're decor style leans into cottage, country, or farmhouse. Ours doesn't and we still kind of want a reason to keep him.
Btw, he'd also work well as a vase or as a watering can (which, obviously, would require some care, but we can't think of a more whimsical way to keep your plants fed!)
